The All-Philly Division I Women’s Basketball Awards and Teams have been announced with Caroline Coyer of Villanova being named the Player of the Year. Fellow Wildcat Adrianna Hahn is the Rookie of the Year for the 2015-16 season. The Coach of the Year Award goes to Mike McLaughlin of Penn. The awards were selected by Glenn Papazian of PhillyCollegeSports.com and Mel Greenberg, the Woman Hoops Guru. The team selections are listed below.

Player of the Year – Caroline Coyer
The senior guard led Villanova in four categories, including scoring (14.0 ppg.), assists (119), steals (43) and minutes played (34.3 mpg.). She also ranked second in both rebounding (4.7 rpg.) and three-point field goals made with 57. Coyer scored in double figures in 20 of the 26 games this year with seven games of 20 points or more. She concluded her career ranked 10th in program history in scoring (1,342 points), seventh in assists (449) and 16th in rebounding (521). Coyer was named to the Big East All-Conference First Team for the second straight year.
Rookie of the Year – Adrianna Hahn
Hahn was third on the team in scoring at 10.4 points per game and she leads the Wildcats in three-point field goals (60-of-144 for .417) while starting two of twenty-nine games. Since taking over as the starting point guard for the injured Caroline Coyer, Hahn has scored 65 points and has shot .466 from the field (21-of-45) and .464 from three-point range (13-of-28). Her best effort of the season came at Georgetown on February 21 when she scored a career-high 29 points. The freshman from Wilmington, DE was named the Big East Sixth Woman of the Year.
Coach of the Year – Mike McLaughlin
This season McLaughlin had many accomplishments foremost was winning the Ivy League championship, and earning the 10th seed on the upcoming NCAA Tournament. The Red and Blue completed a sweep of rival Princeton. The Quakers tallied a school-record 24 wins, including a program-high 11 in the non-conference, the signature win being against Colorado State. It was the only non-conference loss suffered by CSU this season. McLaughlin also posted his 500th career victory in December, as well as his 100th win at Penn in January. The Red and Blue earned the 27th spot in the latest Ratings Percentage Index (RPI), which is the highest-ever for Penn at the end of the regular season.
