Temple Football Looks to the Non-Conference Schedule Future

The Cherry and White Adds a Home-and-Home Series

Temple is looking to the future in its football non-conference schedule recently adding a home-and-home series against Utah State of the Mountain West Conference. The schedule will begin on September 21, 2024 when the Aggies visit the Linc. It will be the first time ever they play against one another. The Owls will travel to Merlin Olsen Field, the home of the Aggies, on September 23, 2028.

Taking a look at the next few years Temple is scheduled to play these non-conference opponents.

2024 – Temple hosts Coastal Carolina (9/14) and Utah State (9/21) while travelling to Oklahoma (8/31) and UConn (10/5)

2025 – Oklahoma boards the Sooner Schooner for a game in Philadelphia on September 13. Temple goes to UMass ( 8/30) and Georgia Tech (9/20)

2026 – Penn State returns to the Linc on September 12. Temple also hosts Rhode Island (9/5) and UConn (10/10), while going to Coastal Carolina (9/19).

2027 – The Cherry and White goes to Happy Valley on September 18. There is a scheduled visit to Storrs on September 4 for a tussle with UConn. UMass comes to the Linc on October 9.

2028 – at Oklahoma? OK! on September 2. Temple makes their return visit to Utah State on September 23. Home games are scheduled with Duke (9/16) and UConn (9/30).

2029 – sees two non-conference road games at this time going to Miami (9/15) and UMass (9/29).
