Saint Joseph’s to Play 13 Non-Conference Games in Men’s Basketball

August 27, 2023 –

The Hawks have scheduled 13 non-conference games for the 2023-24 men’s basketball season. The team will see four schools that made the 2023 NCAA Tournament, and the highlight will be a trip to Lexington, KY to play the University of Kentucky for the third time in program history. Saint Joseph’s will also play Big 5 games against Villanova and Penn before participating in the Big 5 Classic at the Wells Fargo Center.

“We’ve created a schedule that provides great optionality for us as a program,” said men’s basketball coach Billy Lange. “Our 2023-24 schedule provides road environments against teams projected to make deep March runs in Kentucky and Villanova. We will compete in the Hagan Arena, on the road, and in neutral site venues against programs that played in last year’s NCAA Tournament. These games help us showcase the spirit of The Hawk Will Never Die.”
