The Wildcats Are Participants in the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis For the Third Time

The Villanova Wildcats men’s basketball team will travel to the Bahamas over Thanksgiving as part of the Battle 4 Atlantis. This is the third time Villanova is going to the tournament. It has ben a good luck charm for Nova as they won the championship each time they participated. The Cats won it in 2013 and 2017. Baylor and Villanova are the only two-time champions.
In the eight-team tournament Villanova plays Texas Tech in their opening game on Wednesday, November 22 at 2:30 PM. These two teams last met in the 2018 NCAA East Regional in Boston. The Wildcats posted a 71 – 59 win on their way to the NCAA Championship.
In the second game Villanova meets the winner of the North Carolina vs. UNI matchup.
The third game for Villanova will be on Friday, November 24 against one of the remaining four teams in the field; Arkansas, Michigan, Memphis, or Stanford.
