Keishana Washington Named Player of the Week
January 31, 2023 –
Player of the Week – Keishana Washington, Drexel who became the second Drexel player in program history for reach the 2,000 point plateau. Washington reached that milestone on a three-pointer late in the first quarter in the win over Hofstra. She scored 24 points that night. The graduate guard from Canada is the 12th active player to reach the 2,000 point level, and the 9th in CAA history. Washington continued her streak of scoring in double-digits contributing 16 points when the Dragons defeated the Elon Phoenix. Her streak stands at 54 games. In the Elon game Washington added 6 assists and 4 steals and went 6 for 6 from the free throw line as she was fouled 8 times in the game.
