Maddy Siegrist Named Player of the Week

Player of the Week – Maddy Siegrist, Villanova who reached the 2,000 career-points plateau in the win over South Florida. She is the third player in program history to reach that level, and at 2,007 career-points, stands 11 behind Nancy Bernhardt for second place in school scoring history. In the Gulf Coast Showcase Siegrist was the leading scorer in all three games. She averaged 28 points over the weekend. The senior forward made 48.3% from the field (28 of 58), went 4 for 10 from the three-point line, and was good on 16 of 21 free throws. Siegrist took down 18 rebounds.
