The Temple Owls were scheduled to play at Miami prior to that date. The ACC decision means that Temple will not play Miami on September 5th as previously scheduled. According to Temple all options are under consideration at this time, but no decision has been reached.

For Olympic Sports competition may begin on Thursday, September 10th. Those sports are field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer, and Volleyball. They will meet the NCAA minimum requirement of games while cross country meets will be conducted at the discretion of the school. No Philadelphia school has a game scheduled with an ACC opponent in the fall sports.

Meanwhile Temple continues to practice for football and is following all government, NCAA and university safety policies. The Owls are primarily concerned with the health and safety of the student-athletes, coaches, staff, and the school looking to avoid any cause for shutdowns.
