Players of the Week

Laura Ziegler, Saint Joseph’s who returned to the lineup and recorded her sixth consecutive double-double scoring a game-high 19 points and 14 rebounds in the victory over George Mason in Virginia. Ziegler made 7 of 13 field goal attempts, 3 of 7 from three-point land. The sophomore forward made 2 of 3 from the foul line. She played 36:12 in the game.

Lucy Olsen, Villanova who scored a game-high 19 points in a key road win for Nova at Marquette. Olsen played 38 minutes making 8 of 19 from the floor while handing out a team-best 3 assists. She also stole the ball twice.

Tiarra East, Temple who was the only Owls player to score in double-figures in their victory over USF. East had 21 points making half of her 16 shots and 4 three-pointers. East also halved her free throws making 3 of 6. She was one of 4 Temple players who pulled down a team-best 6 rebounds.
