Maddy Siegrist Named Player of the Week

Player of the Week

Maddy Siegrist, Villanova who scored 21 points in the win at Marquette, then followed with a 35-point performance at Xavier. Siegrist has 65 career twenty-point games. She also pulled down 11 rebounds for her 7th double-double of the season. At Xavier the senior forward scored 11 of the team’s first 21 points. She has six thirty-point games in this campaign and 23 in her collegiate career. Siegrist recorded 903 rebounds and is the third Villanova player to reach that plateau. As of January 2, 2023 Maddy Siegrist leads the nation in scoring with 420 points and in points per game average at 28.
