Women’s College Basketball Weekly Awards

November 21, 2022 –

Player of the Week – Maddy Siegrist, Villanova who scored a total of 63 points in two victories this week over Penn and Temple. Siegrist scored 41 at Temple which tied her career-high in scoring in a Big Five game. She fell one-point shy of her overall record for most points in a single game. The forward got 18 of her points in the fourth quarter against the Owls in the come from behind win for the Wildcats. She added 27 rebounds. In the Temple game Siegrist took down 16 rebounds, 8 off the offensive glass. The senior made 23 of 42 field goal attempts, and made half of her three-point field goals, while going 13 of 16 from the free throw line.
