Saint Joseph’s Makes the A10 Tournament Semifinal
The Saint Joseph’s Hawks defeated VCU the week before by a 1 – 0 score. The Hawks did it again on the same field in Richmond. This time the game was the Atlantic 10 quarterfinal which the Rams came in as the #1 seed. The #8 Hawks advance to the semifinal round against #4 UMass in Dayton. Erica Behr scored early in the game getting the ball in front from a scramble off a corner kick. The Drexel Dragons split the last week of the regular season. Both games required extra time to determine the winner with the score being 2 – 1 each time. Drexel won in double-overtime at Northeastern on a goal by Gwyn Godwin in the 109th minute. Drexel lost to Elon in the 97th minute. It was the final regular season away game for the University of Pennsylvania Quakers who lost 1 – 0 at Brown. The Bears scored in the 8th minute. The Temple Owls season ended with a 2- 0 defeat to #23 USF Bulls who took the lead off a penalty kick in the 19th minute. The Villanova Wildcats concluded the year losing 2 – 1 at St. John’s. Chloe O’Neill scored her 9th goal for the Wildcats in the 87th minute to cut the gap to a goal.

DREXEL 6 – 8 – 3 Overall, 2 – 5 – 2 CAA
Results – Won 2 – 1 (2 OT) at Northeastern, Lost 2 – 1 (OT) vs. Elon
Summary – Kylie Kutz also scored for Drexel in the win over Northeastern. Delaney Lappin had the goal in the Elon game. Drexel did not qualify for the CAA Tournament.

Summary – Brown clinched their second straight Ivy League title. Laurence Gladu made 6 saves, but a goal by the Bears in the 8th minute proved to be the difference.

Summary – Goal Keeper Kamryn Stablein made 7 saves in the game giving her 98 for the season and 158 career saves.

Summary – Earlier in the week before the game Villanova Coach Chris McLain resigned his position. Daniel Clitnovici served as the interim coach. The Wildcats did not qualify for the Big East Tournament
