Saint Joseph’s Point Scorers at the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Track & Field Meet

Saint Joseph’s Men’s Teams Gather 22 Points; Women’s Team Posts 5 Points

Going into the Sunday schedule at the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Track and Field meet the Hawks started with 12 points scored over the first two days of the meet. The women’s team started with a single point. The men’s team added 10 more to finish with 22 points for 13th place. The women’s team added 5 more as Bridget McNierney scored in two events. The team finished with 6 points to place 27th.

During the previous day the men’s team got 6 points from Zach Michon in the 1500m, 4 by high jumper Patrick Fehm, and 2 from the 4×100 Relay team. The Hawks added to their total when the 4x800m Relay team place third with a time of 7:42.20. Owen Moehler, Gavin Campbell, Jayden Greene, and Javier Linares-Martin ran and put 6 more points on the team total. In the 4×400 relay Saint Joe’s placed 6th for 3 more points. Michael Welde, Kyle Magee, Sebastian Eaton, and Eric Ford crossed the finish line in 3:19.66. Magee scored another point in the 400m Hurdles running a 54.57 finishing 8th.

McNierney increased the Hawks total by 4 points placing 5th in the 400m Hurdles. She turned in a time of 1:02.87. One more point in the team total came in the 4×400 Relay. Tamar Boudreau, Stephanie Hiltpold, Darynn Minus-Vincent, and McNierney finished 8th running a 3:57.77.

Navy scored the most points in both the men’s and women’s side. The men scored 191 points, and the women’s team posted 123.5.
