Temple Learns Conference Pairings in Women’s Basketball

June 10, 2020 –

The American Athletic Conference announced its pairings for the 2020-21 women’s basketball season. It will be different as the league moves to an 11-team format.

Another difference is that Connecticut has moved to the Big East, a huge home game loss for conference teams. No school will have an opportunity to hand the Huskies their initial loss in the league. And who knows what implications will be due to the corona virus. But the American is looking forward.

The new schedule model has 16 league games. Each team will play six opponents on a home and away basis. Four teams will meet conference foes one time, two as a host and two on the road.

Temple will play Cincinnati, UCF, Memphis, USF, SMU, and Tulane home and away. The Owls will host ECU and Houston while travelling to Tulsa and Wichita State.

Game dates will be announced at a later time.
