Alyssa Baron scored 28 against Cornell and 25 against Columbia to lead Penn to two Ivy League wins and a share of first place in Ancient Eight. In the effort against Cornell Baron scored 16 of her season-high point total in the second half.

Results – Won 66 – 60 vs. George Mason, Won 50 – 42 vs. Rhode Island both at the Gola Arena
Summary –
La Salle 66 George Mason 60 – The Explorers bounced back from seven-point halftime deficit to defeat the Patriots. Michaya Owens scored a game-high 20 points for La Salle.
La Salle 50 Rhode Island 42 – The Explorers pulled away in the second half to defeat the Rams. Michaya Owens scored a game-high 18 points while Alicia Cropper recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

PENN 14 – 5 Overall, 4 – 1 Ivy League, 2 – 2 Big Five
Results – Won 60 – 57 at Cornell, Won 70 – 63 at Columbia
Summary –
Penn 60 Cornell 57 – Alyssa Baron scored a season-high 28 points, 16 in the second half as the Red and Blue defeated Cornell. The Quakers used a 17 – 0 second half run to secure the victory. Sydney Stipanovich scored in double figures with 14 points.
Penn 70 Columbia 63 – Alyssa Baron scored 25 points to lead the Red and Blue past Columbia. It was the sixth straight win for Penn. Kara Bonenberger scored 16 for the Quakers.

Results – Lost 73 – 67 at Saint Bonaventure
Summary –
Saint Bonaventure 73 Saint Joseph’s 67 – The Hawks trailed 55 – 42 with 8 minutes to play. Saint Joe’s went on a 14 – 3 run to get to within 2 at 4:19, but would get no closer. Natasha cloud scored a career-high 22 points in the loss.

TEMPLE 12 – 11 Overall, 6 – 6 AAC, 1 – 3 Big Five
Results – Won 79 – 46 at Houston, Won 64 – 51 vs. Memphis at McGonigle Hall
Summary –
Temple 79 Houston 46 – The Owls opened a 20-point halftime lead and cruised past the Cougars. Four Temple players scored in double figures. Erica Coville scored a career-high 18 points, 16 in the second half. Shi-Heria Shipp recorded her fourth double-double of the season with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Temple 64 Memphis 51 – Rateska Brown came off the bench to lead the Owls with a season-high 17 points, including a season-high 5 three-point baskets. The Cherry and White took a 15 point halftime lead. The Tigers would get no closer than 11. Shi-Heria Shipp took down a game-high 13 rebounds for Temple who have won two straight games.

VILLANOVA 18 – 5 Overall, 8 – 4 Big East, 3 – 1 Big Five
Results – Won 72 – 66 at Providence, Won 62 – 57 at Seton Hall
Summary –
Villanova 72 Providence 66 – The Wildcats held a 62 – 50 lead with 7:36 to play, then held off the Friars to post the win. Villanova had four double-figures scorers for the fourth straight game led by Emily Leer with 19 points. Leer made 5 of 9 three-point field goals.
Villanova 62 Seton Hall 57 – The Wildcats posted their fifth straight win. For the fourth straight game Villanova had four players score in double-figures. Lauren Burford and Caroline Coyer scored 15 points each. Burford made 5 of 9 from beyond the arc. Devon Kane and Taylor Holeman had 11 points each.

DREXEL 11 – 11 Overall, 6 – 3 CAA
Results – Lost 71 – 65 at the College of Charleston, Won 57 – 43 at UNCW
Summary –
College of Charleston 71 Drexel 65 – The Dragons fell behind by 21 points in the first half. Drexel staged a second half rally, but it was too steep of a hill to climb. Rachel Pearson scored a game-high 21 points.
Drexel 57 UNCW 43 – The Dragons seized control of the game with a 13 – 2 run to end the first half. Drexel led the entire second half. Sarah Curran led Drexel in points and rebounds with 14 points and 9 rebounds.
