Players of the Week

Aleah Nelson, Temple who scored 20 and 17 points over the week that saw Temple take down league leading Tulsa. Nelson made 11 of 32 from the floor. She added 4 three-pointers. Nelson converted 11 of 12 free throws. The graduate guard averaged 5 rebounds and 2.5 assists. In the Tulsa game Nelson stole the ball three times. The streak of double figures scoring games has grown to four.

Brooke Mullin, Drexel who averaged 19.5 points in the two Drexel wins over Hampton and Northeastern. Mullin made 16 of 31 field goal attempts, and drained 30% of her three-point field goals. This biggest came with just over a minute remaining against Northeastern that gave Drexel their first lead of the game. The graduate guard made 4 of 6 from the free throw line and averaged 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Mullin added a steal and 2 blocked shots. She had scored in double figures 8 times this season.
