Laura Ziegler Named Player of the Week

November 24, 2023 –

Player of the Week – Laura Ziegler of Saint Joseph’s – who recorded a double-double in the Hawks gritty overtime road win over the Temple Owls. Ziegler scored a game-high in points with 21 and rebounds gathering 13. This is the 11th time the forward has broken double digits in those statistical categories. Ziegler also had the steal late that allowed the Hawks to go to the foul line and send the game into overtime. In the extra five minutes the sophomore made four of the Hawks eight free throws, their only points, in the overtime period.
